Presenting Geb to the DFW Grails/Groovy Group

Last night (10/3/2012) I had the immense pleasure to speak to the DFW Grails/Groovy User Group. They welcomed me with open arms, and I was truly honored.

I met many wonderful individuals that asked many astute questions and offered up insightful and creative ideas. Overall, it was very engaging and I learned a great deal.

Based on this experience, I will likely become more involved in local user groups and I encourage others to do the same.

I presented on Geb, an automated browser testing tool written in Groovy. Here are the slides:

However, the slides are really more of a supplement for the code examples I walked through. They can be found in my geb-examples GitHub repository.

Also, as the slides indicate, I will be updating the GitHub repo with more examples as I develop them. Look forward to configurable page instances!
